Privacy Policy

What I collect

  • Details you give me: your name, email address, business name, website or social media links, and anything you write in the contact form or emails.

  • Client project details: information needed to deliver your project, such as account access for posting, brand assets and billing details.

  • Website data: basic, anonymous analytics (pages visited, device and approximate location) collected by Squarespace, and cookies used by embedded video players such as Vimeo.

How I use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and book a chat.

  • To plan, film, edit, caption and post your content.

  • To send quotes and invoices, and keep business and tax records.

  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.

I will never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.

Legal basis
I use your information to respond to your request and perform our contract, to meet legal obligations such as tax records, and for my legitimate interest in running and improving my business.

Who I share it with
Only trusted services I use to run my business, such as Squarespace (website and forms), Google (email and file storage), Wise (invoicing and payments) and Vimeo (video hosting). These services may store data outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months if we don’t work together. Client and invoice records are kept for up to 6 years, as required for UK tax purposes.

Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how I use it. Just email me. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Terms of Service

These terms apply to all work by Astrella Creates. By booking a shoot or paying an invoice, you agree to them.

1. Services
I provide video, photography, editing, captioning and social media posting services, as described on my website or in your quote. The exact deliverables are confirmed in writing before we start.

2. Booking and payment
A 50% deposit is required to book a First shoot or Brand film, with the balance due on delivery. Monthly content is invoiced at the start of each month, in advance. Invoices are due within 7 days. I may pause work, posting or delivery while an invoice is overdue.

3. Monthly content
Monthly content starts with a 3-month minimum term, then continues month to month. After the first 3 months, either of us can end it with 30 days’ written notice.

4. Rescheduling and cancellations
You can reschedule a shoot free of charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may lose the deposit. If I need to reschedule due to illness or an emergency, we’ll agree a new date at no extra cost.

5. Revisions
Each reel and film includes one round of revisions. Extra revisions, or changes to the original brief, may be charged.

6. Delivery
I aim to deliver edited content within 7 days of a shoot, or as agreed in your quote. Brand films may take longer, and the timeline is agreed upfront.

7. Your responsibilities
You’ll give me access to your location, products and team on the shoot day, and confirm you have permission to film any people, places and branding that appear. You’ll provide any account access needed for posting. Paid ad budgets, such as local ad boosts, are paid by you directly to the platform.

8. Usage and ownership
Once paid in full, you can use the final content for your business marketing, on any platform, for as long as you like. I keep the copyright and may use the work in my portfolio, website and social media, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Raw footage isn’t included unless agreed. Music is licensed for social and web use, and some music may not be cleared for paid TV or broadcast use.

9. Results
I’ll always create content designed to perform, but I can’t guarantee specific views, followers, sales or results, as these depend on many factors outside my control.

10. Liability
My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you’ve paid for that project. I’m not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part is found invalid, the rest still applies.
